WHY PEOPLE PREFER FINGERPRINT SCANNING SMARTPHONES

SECURITY ISSUES ARE INVOLVED

First of all, the improvement in technology is supposed to make life a
lot easier, ... and that is what is happening to the smartphones. Not only the
laptops, netbooks and notebooks have the built-in biometric touchpads or
fingerprint readers. The fingerprint reader allows you to unlock the
phone with the swipe of a finger.

The only Smartphones that may mostly have the fingerprint reader touchpads/trackballs are the BlackBerry Smartphones because of their Patent which was granted to Research In Motion (RIM) the makers of Blackberry. The Patent was granted sometime in 2009. The others may be granted to use this when and if the work things our between themselves.

Now, there is a Smartphone that comes to mind that have the technology in use, but not on its touchpad, it is the MOTOROLA ATRIX. (Only available with package)

THE MOTOROLA DROID RAZR REVIEW

Introducing the DROID RAZR by Motorola - coming in November 2011:

DESIGN: THINNEST 4G LTE SMARTPHONE

The Thinnest SmartPhone
DROID RAZR is so thin, it makes microchips feel flabby. The thinnest 4G LTE smartphone, it can get you out of the tightest of situations while letting you keep your cool.

CONSTRUCTION: DROID STRONG, RAZR SHARP

DROID RAZR proves that thin no longer equals frail. It’s made strong with KEVLAR® fiber, while Corning® Gorilla® Glass defends the screen against scrapes and scratches. A force field of water-repellent nanoparticles shields the phone against water attacks — even the electrical boards inside.

NETWORK SPEED: DOMINATE AT WARP SPEED

Unleash the fierce power of Verizon’s 4G LTE network, piloted by a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor. Blast your music and check the score, while email reloads — all at the same time, without delay. The 1 GB of RAM keeps you rocketing through.

MOTOCAST™: INFINITE ACCESS TO LIMITLESS LIBRARIES

The free MotoCast app from Motorola lets DROID RAZR stream your music, pictures and documents from your home or work computers — virtually anytime, anywhere — so your content is always within reach. No uploading to a third party means no wasted time, and everything stays protected, right on your computer.

DISPLAY: OBLITERATE VISUAL BOREDOM

Take your eyes to a new plane of reality with the cutting-edge visuals of DROID RAZR. A 4.3” Super AMOLED Advanced display dishes out hyper-vibrant colors and smooth action, so on-the-go movies and TV shows are never a blur, whether you stream from Netflix1 or download from Android Market™.
Dual Cameras

DUAL CAMERAS: LIFE HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER

Create some cinematic awesomeness of your own with an 8MP rear camera and 1080p HD video recording. Ready for all conditions, DROID RAZR has image stabilization technology for less blurry video.

SMART ACTIONS: UNLOAD YOUR WORKLOAD

Smart Actions
DROID RAZR is ready to do your bidding. Always kill the ringer at work? Or tweak your Bluetooth® settings at home to save battery? The Smart Actions app understands. It exterminates the mundane tasks from your to-do list, so you’re free to focus on other pursuits.

Surf In Style

WEBTOP: COMMAND MORE

Connect your DROID RAZR to a webtop-enabled accessory (sold separately) and instantly, our revolutionary webtop app displays your phone’s interface on a monitor or HDTV. Whip through documents and the web on a full Firefox® browser, make a call, send a text — all at the same time, while the phone charges.

SECURITY: MAKE YOUR SECRETS SAFE

Secure Data Storage
DROID RAZR may know a lot about you, but it also knows how to keep a secret. Government-grade encryption protects your email, contacts and calendar, so you can feel secure knowing your data — and your company's data — is secure.

In many circles, there are countless comparisons for the DROID RAZR with the iPhone. The competition is gearing up to become a fierce one, but, among other things, it will boil down to sheer delivery of what is expected by you the user.

By the way, there are other Motorola SmartPhones that even paved the way to the Droid Razr. They are the Motorola Droid 3 and the well known Motorola ATRIX 4G.

The Motorola Droid 3 is the one that will now "Hats Off" to the DROID RAZR with some very significant improvements.

These are not available everywhere, but I've seen Verizon offering them cheaply with the various services they have.
